IAGWH2 - Review

Every now and again we run beyond rather unique games for your Windows Telephone. IAGWH2 is not only a unique game but information technology also has an as unique championship. It stands for "I am great with headlines 2" and is part puzzle game and function trivia game based on the news headlines of the day.

It reminded me of a game show you'd fine on NPR such as "Expect, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" IAGWH2 is a simple, yet entertaining game and to observe out more than, you lot've gotta brand the jump past the break.

IAGWH2's principal menu is straight forward and unproblematic (as most main menu'south are). You lot accept buttons to start the game, access the settings, view your game statistics, view a help/how to department and view the game's version/developer information.

IAGWH2's settings covers what type headlines the game will use for the puzzles. The topics include Top Headlines, Sports, Technology, Business organisation, and Amusement.

Game play is equally as simple. The game pulls headlines from an RSS feed, cuts them upward into one word blocks and your job is to put the pieces back together again. To assistance you lot forth the way there is a "Hint" button that will place one word correctly. If y'all become the headline wrong, you lot'll start from scratch.

Scores are based on how many hints you utilize and how many attempts information technology takes to get the headline right. In one case you get the headline correct, you are given the selection of viewing the rest of the story online or move on to the adjacent headline challenge.

All in all, IAGWH2 is a fun, entertaining, and challenging game for your Windows Phone. I would take like to have seen the "Hint" pull up a snippet of the story only, as is, it works.

IAGWH2 is a free, advertizement-supported game for your Windows Telephone. You lot can download it hither (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.

Update: IAGWH2 was recently updated to add together an online scoreboard and a slightly unlike groundwork.  The groundwork went from the blue to a grayness, chalkboard mode background.  The online scoreboard doesn't include your scores automatically.  When you choose to upload them, yous enter your screen name and they are included on the global scoreboard.

The update improves the advent and overall feel of IAGWH2.
